Job Description
Microbiologist role involves:
- Working under direct supervision to perform microbiological analysis on raw materials, finished goods, and stability samples as assigned.

- Perform non-routine assignments to conduct analysis on product/material samples.
- Use laboratory instrumentation and computer systems to collect and record data.
- Recognizes malfunctions in laboratory equipment and notifies management.
- Follow all procedures related to data documentation, laboratory safety, and good laboratory practices.
Qualifications
Microbiologist qualification requires a strong academic background and relevant laboratory skills.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or related science
- Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Proficient in Microsoft Office
Preferred
- At least 1 year of experience in QC and/or R&D microbiology laboratory.
- Experience with testing antimicrobial products/materials.
- Proficient in LIMS.
- Knowledge of R&D and/or QC Microbiology compendial test methods.
- Able to determine if a gap analysis is necessary.

Salary & Benefits
The anticipated salary range for this position: $58,000.00 – $87,000.00 Annual
The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
