Job Description
Clinical scientist job involves supporting the design, execution, and oversight of clinical studies by providing scientific and operational expertise. This role collaborates closely with the Clinical Scientist Protocol Lead and cross-functional study teams to ensure high-quality clinical trial conduct and alignment with study objectives, making it an ideal life science job.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Life Sciences or a related field.
- Pharmaceutical and/or clinical drug development experience required
- Approximately 2 years of medical monitoring experience
- 2 years in a Clinical Scientist role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP) and PowerPoint
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical scientist job responsibilities include assisting the Protocol Lead and study team in the clinical and scientific execution of clinical trials.
- Provide support for medical monitoring activities, including adjudication and protocol deviation management
- Experience with queries
- Contribute to imaging data reconciliation and preparation of study-related materials and presentations
- Support one or multiple clinical studies simultaneously, depending on scope and complexity
- Lead limited-scope studies (e.g., survival follow-up) as needed
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including study sites and committees, to support study objectives
