Scientist Job Description
Scientist job responsibilities at Eurofins include performing work in a laboratory setting while meeting the physical requirements of a lab role. Candidates will prepare and manage inventory of buffers, reagents, media, semi-finished and finished goods, and maintain and culture multiple cell lines in a BSL2 environment to ensure consistency and reproducibility.
The role involves executing and optimizing cell-based assays to support drug discovery programs such as ADMETox, BioMAP® Services, Ion Channel Services, BioMarker Services, OncoPanel™ Services, and BioTherapeutics. Employees will also identify workflow improvements, perform compound dosing, serial dilutions, and ensure compliance with GxP requirements. Additionally, the position requires maintaining accurate data records, troubleshooting assay variability, improving assay scalability, and analyzing experimental data using tools like Microsoft Excel and GraphPad Prism. Cross-functional collaboration with biology, chemistry, and project management teams is essential, along with effective communication of project updates and adherence to SOPs.
