Research Associate Job Description

Research associate job responsibilities involve conducting investigational studies to evaluate novel therapeutic interventions in Huntington’s Disease mouse models and mammalian cell culture systems. The selected candidate will work on experiments involving virally delivered constructs designed to improve disease-related phenotypes in live mice and derived tissues.

This biology job also includes conducting molecular and microscopic analyses in immortalized mammalian cell cultures to assess experimental treatment strategies. Training will be provided for mouse model handling and cell culture techniques, although prior experience is preferred. The role requires strong attention to detail, accurate documentation practices, and excellent communication skills for collaboration within multidisciplinary scientific teams.

Qualifications

Research associate job applicants must possess:
