Key Responsibilities
As a Research Officer, you will serve as the operational backbone of a major behavioral change trial. You will spend time both in the office managing data and out in the community directly engaging with participants.
Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Participant Management: Coordinating participant recruitment, complex scheduling, and ongoing follow-ups across multiple study sites.
- Fieldwork & Data Collection: Organizing and supporting site visits in community or institutional settings. You will conduct study procedures to a high standard, including taking anthropometric measurements (e.g., height and weight) and administering study surveys.
- Study Coordination: Supporting day-to-day research activities such as literature searches, the preparation of study materials, and rigorous documentation.
- Data Management: Maintaining highly accurate, organized study records in strict alignment with research governance. You will also support data entry, data cleaning, basic visualization, and preliminary analysis.
- Reporting: Contributing directly to research reporting, which includes preparing progress reports, stakeholder presentations, and scientific manuscripts.
