Key Responsibilities
In this fast-paced, cross-functional role, you will be vital to the smooth execution of Ionis’s nonclinical study conduct. You will manage diverse workloads, coordinate with CROs, and ensure operational excellence.
Your day-to-day operational duties will include:
- Contract & Study Facilitation: Facilitating study contracts (Statements of Work – SOWs) and managing test article and formulation requests.
- Document Review: Thoroughly reviewing study protocols, final reports, and study amendments.
- Sample Management: Coordinating sample shipments, managing the receipt and transfer of highly sensitive study samples, and meticulously maintaining the Chain of Custody.
- Data & Template Management: Preparing, reviewing, and distributing shipping and data templates (strong Excel proficiency is required), as well as maintaining and updating study outline templates.
- Archiving Operations: Acting as the liaison between Ionis and CROs for the strict facilitation of sample and data archiving/disposition management.
- Meeting Coordination: Scheduling and actively participating in department and study-related meetings, including the preparation of detailed meeting minutes.
- General Operational Support: Managing document processing (e.g., Electronic Laboratory Notebooks [ELN], study tracker management), maintaining file systems for accuracy, and processing invoice reviews and approvals.
