Research Analyst Job Description

Research analyst job professionals will serve as the KBI Education Coordinator within the Krembil Brain Institute. The successful candidate will oversee education initiatives, manage daily operations of the Krembil Education Team, collaborate with co-leads, residency program directors, clinicians, and scientists, and contribute innovative ideas to advance neuroscience education. This role is fully in-person at Toronto Western Hospital. This is an excellent life sciences job for candidates interested in neuroscience education, research coordination, and healthcare administration.

Qualifications

Research analyst job applicants must meet the following requirements:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience, Physiology, Life Sciences, or an equivalent discipline
  • Minimum one year of practical and related experience
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
  • Experience with patient scheduling systems and software
  • Experience working within the healthcare sector
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and coordination abilities

Preferred

  • Experience in academic or research environments
  • Administrative experience
  • Website creation and design expertise
  • Experience supporting education initiatives
  • Experience in neuroscience research settings

Research Analyst Job – Key Responsibilities

Research analyst job responsibilities include supporting educational programs and research activities within the Krembil Brain Institute. Key duties include:

  • Identify and invite speakers for weekly Neuroscience rounds
  • Build, design, and maintain websites and video archives
  • Track and analyze attendance and engagement data from rounds, websites, and events
  • Coordinate scheduling with speakers, collaborators, and co-leads
  • Create and distribute promotional materials, emails, website posts, and posters
  • Manage UHN mailing lists
  • Monitor progress of KBI Education initiatives
  • Organize webinars, town halls, and educational events
  • Prepare funding and progress reports
  • Assist with KBI Neuroscience Education research projects
  • Support projects that advance inter-professional development at Krembil Brain Institute
