Lab Technician Job – Qualifications
Lab technician job applicants should meet the following educational and experience requirements:
- Two-year Community College diploma in Laboratory Technology or a related program
- One year of related laboratory experience
- Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be considered
- Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technologist is preferred
Additional Requirements
Lab Technician Job candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
- Experience in a veterinary bacteriology laboratory
- Expertise in PCR and whole genome sequencing
- Knowledge of MALDI-TOF MS and IR Biotyper systems
