Remote Clinical Research Job Description
Remote clinical research role responsibilities involve conducting independent site monitoring activities for clinical trials while ensuring compliance with protocols, regulatory requirements, and quality standards. The Clinical Research Associate works closely with Lead CRAs, Senior CRAs, in-house CRAs, Project Managers, and the Associate Director of Clinical Monitoring to support successful clinical trial execution, site management, recruitment, training, and issue resolution.
Qualifications
Remote clinical research job candidates should meet the following requirements:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Life Sciences, or a related scientific health field.
- Certified Monitor qualification (Italy, where applicable).
Experience & Skills
- Experience in clinical monitoring and site management.
- Knowledge of ICH GCP, FDA, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and travel as required.
- Proficiency with CTMS, EDC systems, and clinical databases.
- Good English and local language communication skills (where applicable).
Remote Clinical Research Job – Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site monitoring visits and prepare monitoring reports.
- Ensure protocol, ICH GCP, FDA, and SOP compliance.
- Review CRF data and source documents for accuracy.
- Manage site communication, documentation, and audit readiness.
- Support ethics submissions, contracts, and study plans.
- Resolve site issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Monitor study progress, budgets, and investigational products.
- Mentor CRAs and support CTMS maintenance and training.
