Clinical Research Job Description

Clinical research role responsibilities involve supporting entry-level clinical research activities by assisting physicians, administrative staff, sponsors, and CRO representatives. The Clinical Research Assistant collects information from patients and study participants while supporting oncology clinical trials through documentation, participant coordination, regulatory compliance, and research administration.

The position works under the direction of the Principal Investigator and contributes to high-quality clinical research conducted according to institutional policies, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and applicable regulations.

Qualifications

Clinical research job applicants should meet the following requirements:

  • Required: Two (2) years of work experience in a healthcare or research setting. Relevant education may substitute for work experience on a year-for-year basis.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Biology or a related field.

Clinical Research Job – Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit and educate clinical trial participants.
  • Prepare CRFs and maintain study documentation.

  • Report adverse events and maintain confidentiality.
  • Coordinate study visits, supplies, and CTMS records.
  • Support monitoring visits, audits, and quality assurance.
  • Collaborate with research teams and regulatory departments.
  • Participate in training and professional development.
