The Life Sciences postdoctoral role in Dr. Paul Babitzke’s lab involves studying transcription and post-transcriptional regulatory mechanisms in B. subtilis and E. coli. Candidates will explore fundamental mechanisms controlling RNA polymerase pausing and termination, gene expression regulation, and structural studies of RNA polymerase using cryo-EM.
