Clinical Scientist Trainee Job Description
Clinical Scientist Trainee role provides an excellent opportunity for highly motivated graduates to receive specialist training within a modern molecular genetics laboratory. The successful candidate will work as part of the Molecular Genetics Service, supporting genomic diagnostic services across Scotland while receiving structured training in laboratory techniques, genetic data interpretation, quality management systems, and clinical reporting. Qualifications
Clinical Scientist Trainee Job applicants should possess:
- First Class or Upper Second Class (2:1) BSc Honours Degree (or international equivalent).
- Degree in Genetics, Molecular Biology, or a related discipline.
- Experience within research laboratories.
- Experience in a clinical laboratory environment is desirable.
- Previous exposure to Molecular Genetics laboratories is preferred.
