Job Description
The Global Medical Affairs Intern will work within the Oncology team of Danone’s Medical & Nutritional Science department. This medical affairs internship involves raising awareness of medical nutrition’s value, leveraging product data through scientific communication, and engaging with various stakeholders, including marketing teams and healthcare professionals. The intern will be involved in projects related to nutritional care in oncology, making it an excellent biomedical science intern vacancy.
Medical Affairs Intern – Key Responsibilities
- Co-develop tools and scientific communication messages with cross-functional colleagues.
- Interact and communicate with different departments within Danone.
- Overview new evidence for AD and relevant products to enrich existing storylines.
- Perform literature searches and reviews as needed.
- Co-lead the development of patient surveys in Oncology.
- Co-develop nutritional rationales for Oncology TA relevant products.
- Map and engage with Key Opinion Leaders (KOL)/stakeholders in collaboration with Medical colleagues globally.
- Create consistent slide decks and country engagement dashboards.
Eligibility Criteria Required For Medical Affairs Intern
- Enrolled as a Master’s student for the entire duration of the internship.
- Resident of the Netherlands with a valid BSN number; non-EU citizens must have a valid Dutch residency permit.
- For non-EU citizens, a three-party agreement with Danone must be signed by the university.
- Available to start in October 2026 for a minimum of 6 months (preferably 9 months), 5 days per week.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Able to work from Hoofddorp and Utrecht offices a few days per week.
