Job Description
The Research Associate I will support the development of innovative recombinant protein and antibody products within BioLegend’s Molecular & Cellular Biology (MCBio) group. This role involves preparing buffers and cell culture media, maintaining mammalian cell cultures, and purifying recombinant proteins and antibodies according to established standard operating procedures (SOPs). The Research Associate will also coordinate product transfers, prepare documentation, and maintain accurate inventory records. Research Associate Jobs – Key Responsibilities
- Maintain mammalian and insect cell cultures.
- Transfect/transduce cells and manage production runs.
- Purify and further process recombinant proteins and antibodies to meet specifications.
- Prepare various buffers and reagents for experiments while maintaining the general upkeep of the lab.
- Document experiments and generate reports in conjunction with other research staff.
- Maintain batch records and other documentation essential for compliance with ISO13485:2016.
- Effectively work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects.
- Conduct experiments for process improvements and optimization.
Eligibility Criteria Required For Research Associate Jobs
- Bachelor of Science in biology or a related field.
- 1+ years of mammalian or bacterial cell culture experience.
