Job Description
The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) will be the field medical expert responsible for providing scientific and medical support to both external and internal stakeholders. This role involves addressing the medical and scientific information needs of Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) within relevant therapeutic areas. The MSL will proactively build relationships with HCPs through a scientific approach aligned with the Brand and Medical Plan, making this position vital for medical affairs jobs in Asia.
Medical Science Liaison Jobs – Key Responsibilities
- Act as a scientific expert, providing scientific and medical support to internal and external stakeholders, including government sectors and key medical organizations.
- Identify HCPs with scientific expertise to collaborate on gathering medical insights based on the strategic brand plan.
- Provide scientific information to support the medical/scientific needs of HCPs.
- Conduct training and development for Zuellig Pharma staff regarding current clinical data and emerging trends in medical practice.
- Build and maintain trust-based relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
- Work closely with medical and commercial teams to develop a strategic and tactical plan in collaboration with the medical team.
Eligibility Criteria Required For Medical Science Liaison Jobs
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Life Science disciplines.
- 1-2 years of experience as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) or in Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical industry, or at least 2 years in research/academic/healthcare settings.
- Strong scientific, medical, and technical skills in Clinical Research, Pharmacovigilance, and/or Medical Information.
- Ability to effectively synthesize and communicate scientific information with HCPs.
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Cantonese).
