The Research Assistant will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of the Cell Screening group at AbCellera. This position involves supporting high-throughput screening of single cells and preparing cell isolates from primary sources. The successful candidate will contribute to the development and execution of cell enrichment protocols, ensuring that laboratory workflows run efficiently and accurately in this biotech research job.
Eligibility Criteria for Biotech Research Job
- BSc in Cell Biology, Immunology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a relevant field.
- Hands-on experience in a wet lab environment.
- Flexible schedule availability, including hours from 7 am to 3 pm.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced work environment.
- Self-motivated, fast learner, and a team player.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Experience with or interest in learning mammalian tissue isolation, processing, and cell culture techniques.

- Maintaining and implementing standard operating procedures in collaboration with team members to align on best practices.
