Job Description
The intern biotechnologist will be involved in various aspects of protein expression and purification. Responsibilities include conducting experiments with mammalian cells, data analysis, and operating bioreactors. Biotech Internship – Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the resuscitation, passage, transfection, culture, and other experiments of mammalian cells such as HEK293 and CHO.
- Conduct data analysis and processing of cell culture experiments, and prepare experimental records and reports.
- Operate bioreactors, centrifuges, and prepare buffers and reagents.
- Formulate and update standard operating procedures (SOPs), summarizing and solidifying work experience.
- Manage instruments and perform maintenance as required.
- Complete other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Eligibility Criteria Required For Biotech Internship
- Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences, Life Sciences, Bioengineering, or related fields.
- Practical laboratory experience in recombinant protein/antibody expression.
- Familiarity with mammalian cell culture, chromatography, SDS-PAGE, Western blot, HPLC, and other protein detection methods is preferred.
- Good troubleshooting skills.
- Strong sense of achievement; resilient and able to perform under pressure.
- Team player with good communication skills (verbal and written).
- Available to work 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week, with 2 rest days that may not always fall on weekends.
