Medical Information Specialist Jobs Description
The Medical Information Specialist (MIS) position is integral to the ProPharma Medical Information Contact Center. The role involves adhering to regulations and industry standards while delivering medical information and documenting adverse events, product complaints, and other inquiries. The specialist will respond to requests from healthcare professionals and consumers, providing accurate and timely information in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Key Responsibilities
- Respond to consumer and healthcare professional requests for medical and safety information.
- Provide labeled and unlabeled medical/safety information responses.
- Document and report adverse events and product complaints accurately.
- Ensure timely completion of tasks as per ProPharma’s Standard Operating Procedures.
- Assist in writing custom medical information responses.
- Maintain quality checks on logged inquiries and adverse events.
- Adhere to company privacy policies and health and safety regulations.
- Participate in after-hours coverage as required.
