Labcorp Clinical Research Job Description

The Labcorp clinical research job for a Regional Study Coordinator involves serving as the regional liaison between the Global Study Manager and all Central Labs Services departments involved in study execution. This role includes being the point of contact for assigned client representatives and ensuring seamless coordination of activities throughout all study stages, from start-up to closure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the regional liaison between the Global Study Manager and all CLS departments involved in study execution.
  • Act as the regional point of contact for assigned client representatives (e.g., CRAs, Site Monitors) and the corresponding local CLS platform; may occasionally represent the Global Study Manager in interactions with primary client contacts.
  • Partner closely with the Global Study Manager across all study stages—from start-up through closure—to ensure seamless coordination of activities within the local platform.
  • Review the Statement of Work (SOW) to assess local feasibility and provide informed recommendations to the Study Design Lead.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of SOW specifications and a strong understanding of how those requirements impact operational delivery across the clinical trial.
  • Oversee day-to-day local study activities, including logistics, monitoring, and study supplies, ensuring the Global Study Manager is kept informed of key developments.
  • Monitor, track, and resolve local study issues, maintaining consistent communication with the Global Study Manager to support proactive issue management.

Eligibility Criteria

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in a life science discipline is preferred.
  • Proven ability to plan, prioritize, and manage workload in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills that support clear, consistent execution.
  • Exceptional attention to detail paired with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
  • Demonstrated experience facilitating meetings and engaging effectively with clients to drive alignment and outcomes.
  • Self-starting, investigative mindset with the ability to learn quickly and adapt in dynamic environments.
