Protein QC Intern Job Description
The Protein QC Intern will be responsible for performing various protein analysis techniques including concentration tests, SDS-PAGE, Western blot analysis, HPLC, and endotoxin tests on protein samples. The intern will also summarize, analyze, and process experimental data, while conducting experimental operations and maintaining experimental records. Additionally, the role includes formulating and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and managing laboratory instruments.
Protein QC Intern – Key Responsibilities
- Conduct concentration tests, SDS-PAGE, Western blot analysis, HPLC, and endotoxin tests of protein samples.
- Summarize, analyze, and process experimental data, and sort out unqualified data.
- Conduct experimental operations and maintain detailed experimental records.
- Formulate and update SOPs based on work experience.
- Manage laboratory instruments and perform maintenance as required.
- Complete other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Eligibility Criteria Required For Protein QC Intern
- Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences / Life Sciences / Bioengineering or related fields.
- Familiarity with SDS-PAGE, Western blot, and other protein detection techniques.
- Good troubleshooting skills.
- Strong sense of achievement and resilience under pressure.
- Team player with effective communication skills (verbal and written).
- Available to work 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week, with 2 rest days that may not always fall on weekends.
