Job Description
Columbia University Irving Medical Center is seeking a full-time Technician B to join the Yamashita Laboratory at the Aaron Diamond AIDS Research Center. Research in the laboratory focuses on the molecular mechanisms of HIV-1 replication, viral evolution, antiviral resistance, and virus-host interactions. The successful candidate in this Columbia University biology technician role will report directly to the Principal Investigator.
Eligibility and Other Requirements
Eligibility and Other Requirements for Columbia University biology technician job include:
- Bachelor’s degree in biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, microbiology, or a related life science, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to work in an organized manner and comply with all laboratory safety policies and procedures.
- The selected candidate will be required to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening before a final offer of employment.
