GMP Lab Technician Job Description
Eurofins PSS is looking for new team members to support and assist in the scale-up and manufacturing of mammalian and microbial fermentation/purification processes for clinical and toxicology supplies. In this GMP Lab Technician role, the work involves setting up, executing, and evaluating GMP manufacturing unit operations, including seed train, bioreactors/fermenters, centrifugation, filtration, chromatography, and more.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, execute, and evaluate GMP manufacturing unit operations.
- Perform routine analytical, compendial, and general laboratory testing in a GMP-regulated environment.
- Conduct testing using techniques such as pH, appearance, and UV-Vis spectroscopy.
- Follow approved SOPs, test methods, specifications, and laboratory procedures.
- Accurately document testing activities and results in accordance with GMP and data integrity requirements.
- Collaborate with laboratory and cross-functional teams to support testing timelines and laboratory operations.
GMP Lab Technician Eligibility Criteria
- Associate’s degree or BS/BA in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, or equivalent.
- Minimum 0 to 2+ years of experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment.
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office, especially MS Word and MS Excel.
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience in a Biological Pilot Plant or Commercial Manufacturing setting is desired.
- Knowledge of fermentation and/or downstream processing techniques.
Additional Information
Positions are full-time, Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM, with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Chesterfield, MO, are encouraged to apply.
