Biotechnologist Trainee Job Description
The Attach & Train Programme is designed to build skilled talent through practical, industry-based training. As a biomanufacturing trainee, individuals will participate in a structured training program within the Biologics Manufacturing team, supporting the production of complex, cell-based medicines while adhering to high quality and compliance standards.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, or equivalent. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Knowledge of cGMP and regulatory requirements related to manufacturing is an advantage.
- Exposure to SAP, LIMS, or MES through internships or prior experience is beneficial.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Highly motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Biotechnologist Trainee – Key Responsibilities
- Support cGMP manufacturing operations for biologics drug substance, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Depending on the assigned area, support upstream, downstream, or central services operations.
- Execute assigned manufacturing operations, including equipment cleaning and set-up.
- Complete and review batch documentation for accuracy and resolve errors promptly.
- Support shift operations and troubleshoot issues, reporting anomalies to supervisors.
- Maintain inventory and overall plant readiness to support operations.
- Identify improvement opportunities and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
