Maravai LifeSciences Job Description
Maravai LifeSciences is seeking a #MiracleMaker to join the manufacturing team as a Manufacturing Associate I, Oligo. In this Maravai LifeSciences job, the individual will support daily production operations by performing basic production tasks, preparing equipment and materials, executing routine workflows, and maintaining proper documentation. The position involves working under close supervision within ISO-classified manufacturing spaces to produce research and clinical-grade components.
Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor’s Degree in life science field or related field, preferably in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Molecular Biology, or equivalent experience.

1+ years of experience in a Biochemistry manufacturing laboratory preferred.

Exposure in a cGMP/ISO 7/ISO 8 clean room environment desired.

Experience with executing SOPs.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite desired.

Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and demonstrated problem-solving abilities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Self-motivated and able to organize and prioritize multiple tasks.
Key Responsibilities

Ensure supervisory responsibilities, if applicable, are included.

Review daily production tasks and follow established procedures for material preparation, equipment set-up, and execution of routine processes.

Assist in preparing production areas for cGMP project initiation or changeover.

Document production activities by accurately completing forms, logs, and batch-related records in compliance with GDP.

Operate and clean equipment following established instructions and escalate equipment issues or deviations.

Support execution of batch records and follow SOPs; may assist in SOP revisions under guidance.

Participate in training and complete required cGMP and company training within defined timelines.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following SOPs and housekeeping expectations.

Communicate progress, issues, and observations to supervisors or senior associates.

Collaborate with Manufacturing Associate II staff and other support groups to ensure workflow alignment.

Perform basic oligo synthesis, purification, processing steps, and associated documentation with supervision.

Perform other functions and duties as required.
