Job Description: Oncology Lab Scientist Role

Scientist Job – Key Responsibilities
- Support the discovery and characterization of novel antibody-based therapeutics and innovative oncology drug candidates.
- Independently plan, coordinate, execute, analyze, and document in vitro experiments.
- Continuously develop, optimize, and troubleshoot novel methods and techniques to ensure efficient and reliable experimental outcomes.
- Apply fundamental scientific principles, conduct literature reviews, and implement published protocols.
- Manage laboratory infrastructure by maintaining equipment, coordinating reagent procurement, overseeing inventory, and ensuring an organized and efficient working environment.
Eligibility Criteria Required For Scientist Job
- Relevant education (e.g., a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biology or a related discipline) and ideally at least one year of laboratory experience.
- Hands-on experience with in vitro cell viability assays (2D and 3D), organoid cultures, primary human immune cells (particularly macrophages), high-content imaging and analysis using OPERA/OPERA Phenix systems, flow cytometry, genome editing (CRISPR/Cas9), and molecular biology techniques is considered an advantage.
- Strong team spirit, excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as outstanding data analysis and data management capabilities.
- Self-organized and independent working style, combined with creative thinking and a lateral-thinking mindset.

The remuneration for this position starts at EUR 53,900 gross annual target salary per year (full time). The actual salary package depends on professional experience and qualifications.
