Clinical Research Assistant Job Description
The Clinical Research Assistant performs a variety of research, data, and clerical duties to support the conduct of clinical research under the direction of a senior research team member. Responsibilities include identifying eligible participants, preparing necessary documents, and conducting visits and protocol-specific testing according to study protocols and operational plans.
Eligibility Criteria
- BS degree in a science or another applicable discipline (Required).
- 0 years of experience working in a medical or scientific research setting (Preferred).
Required Skills
- Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and relevant regulations.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a research team.
- Attention to detail in data collection and documentation.
Clinical Research Assistant – Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate adherence to the standards for the responsible conduct of research.
- Plan, conduct, and manage research projects within federal and institutional regulations.
- Maintain knowledge of assigned research protocols and accurately organize study documents.
- Identify participants that meet eligibility requirements under supervision.
- Conduct and document visits and protocol-specific testing/interviews.
- Ensure data is collected as required by protocol and maintain confidentiality of data.
Pay Range: $20.83 – $34.71
