Job Responsibilities
- Shadow laboratory professionals and learn diagnostic workflows, instrumentation, and department operations during the internship.
- Assist with non-testing laboratory tasks, such as specimen organization, inventory, and workspace preparation.
- Participate in approved mock testing, demonstrations, and basic laboratory techniques under supervision.
- Support approved laboratory projects.
- Follow all safety and compliance standard operating procedures.
Eligibility Criteria
- Current enrollment in a Biological, or Clinical Laboratory Science Bachelor’s degree program.
- Interest in laboratory science and the diagnostics industry.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and willingness to follow laboratory procedures.
- Eagerness to learn new laboratory skills and scientific concepts.
- Show initiative and the ability to work independently under general supervision.
- Maintain professionalism, including punctuality and appropriate conduct.
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
Eligibility: For the Labcorp biology internship, preferred candidates are rising juniors and seniors (Dec 2027 through June 2029 graduation) who are currently enrolled in a relevant degree program; however, all current students pursuing related studies are encouraged to apply.
Pay Range: $17.75-22/hr. All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
