Job Description
The Scientist QC job involves performing Quality Control activities in compliance with GMP and approved procedures at the Quality Control laboratories in Gentium Srl, Villa Guardia. This role involves analytical quality control testing, sampling of various materials, and ensuring compliance with quality systems.
Scientist QC Job – Key Responsibilities
- Perform analytical quality control testing according to written instructions and executed training plans.
- Support sampling of finished products, APIs, intermediates, and raw materials.
- Report any departures from standard processes and procedures.
- Review analytical results and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Maintain lab cleanliness and equipment qualification.
- Participate in the preparation of validation protocols and reports.
- Monitor compliance with GMP and Quality Systems.
- Attend training courses in GMP and operational protocols.
Eligibility Criteria Required For Scientist QC Job
Candidates should possess a degree in biotechnology, or biology.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of compendial requirements (USP-NF, Ph. Eur., ICH guidelines).
- Experience in a Pharmaceutical Quality Control laboratory.
- Familiarity with analytical method validation.
- Experience with laboratory equipment such as HPLC and UPLC.
- Proficiency in QC analytical software like Empower 3 CDS and Chromeleon.
- Ability to draft and review SOPs in both Italian and English.
- Good level of English written and spoken.
- Teamwork and capability of managing multiple projects.
Salary
Jazz Pharmaceuticals provides total compensation packages that are market competitive. For this role, the base pay range is: €34,400.00 – €51,600.00, which will be reviewed regularly.
