AbCellera Biology Internship: Job Description
The Scientific Intern will support various scientific teams at AbCellera as part of the AbCellera Biology Internship, gaining exposure to real-world projects that contribute to the advancement of antibody-based medicines. Interns will work alongside experienced professionals and receive mentorship throughout their term.
Key Responsibilities
- Biology Focus: Supporting high-throughput screening workflows, preparing cell isolates, executing cell enrichment protocols, developing functional assays, and maintaining cell stocks.
- Protein Science: Assisting with DNA cloning, library production, protein purification, and quality assessment workflows.
- Translational Science: Supporting pharmacokinetic studies and in vivo disease model studies through various lab techniques.
- Process Development: Performing routine analyses of samples and operating various analytical instruments.
- Quality Control: Supporting laboratory activities, including sample preparation, GMP testing, and data analysis.
Eligibility Criteria Required For Biology Internship
- Available for an interview on October 15th and 16th, 2026.
- Enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- Previous experience operating in a wet lab environment.
- Strong interest in bench work and technical skill development.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced work environment.
- Critical thinking skills and a curiosity for antibody drug discovery.
- Excellent documentation, organizational, and communication skills.
Salary
AbCellera’s hiring range for this role is CAD $3,400 – $3,800 per month, based on education and job-related skills and experience.
