Alcon Regulatory Affairs Trainee Job Description
The Regulatory Affairs Trainee will support the Regulatory Affairs team in various activities related to medical devices and medicinal products. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and facilitating the necessary documentation for product notifications and registrations.
Eligibility Criteria
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master’s or postgraduate degree in Life Sciences discipline, such as Biology.
- A postgraduate or Master’s degree in the Pharmaceutical Industry, particularly the CESIF Master’s program, would be considered an advantage.

Alcon Regulatory Affairs Trainee – Key Responsibilities
- Support Medical Device notification and registration activities with the Spanish Agency of Medicines and Medical Devices (AEMPS).
- Collect and prepare regulatory documentation for Medical Devices and Medicinal Products required for tender submissions.
- Coordinate the translation of Medical Device labeling materials.
- Review Medical Device labeling for the Surgical and Vision Care product portfolios.
- Support post-approval regulatory activities for Medicinal Products, mainly related to variations.
