Job Description
As a Biologics Operations Specialist Intern, the selected candidate will join the Operations team at Sanofi’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Waterford. This Sanofi Internship Ireland role provides an opportunity to engage in the production of monoclonal antibody medicines while supporting continuous improvement initiatives, operational excellence activities, and the delivery of essential medicines to patients worldwide.
Life Sciences Internship – Key Responsibilities
- Support manufacturing activities and gain exposure to sterile processing operations, including formulation and filling processes.
- Learn and apply cleanroom procedures, contamination control practices, and environmental monitoring requirements.
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to help optimize manufacturing performance.
- Support projects focused on operational efficiency and cost improvement.
- Collect, analyze, and present manufacturing data and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with teams across Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance.
- Support investigations, corrective actions, and process improvement projects.
Eligibility Criteria Required For Life Sciences Internship
- Currently pursuing a degree in Biotechnology, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze data and communicate findings clearly.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn in a regulated manufacturing environment.
