Bimeda is looking for Biological R&D Scientists to support their Vaccine R&D team. This veterinary vaccine R&D role involves executing established protocols under supervision for entry-level Scientists, while senior Scientists are responsible for independently designing studies, mentoring staff, and driving regulatory submissions. All positions adhere to USDA Center for Veterinary Biologics (CVB) and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) standards.
Level Guide
Scientist I (Entry-Level)
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences (Master’s preferred).
- 0–2 years of relevant laboratory experience.
- Works under close supervision, following established protocols.
- Maintains GLP-compliant laboratory records.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s in Microbiology, Immunology, Virology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related fields; advanced degrees preferred for higher levels.
- Technical Skills: Experience in molecular biology, cell culture, ELISA, Western blot, or animal handling.
- Core Skills: Attention to detail, data integrity, teamwork, and communication.
- Preferred Experience: Livestock/aquaculture research, USDA CVB regulations, GLP/GMP, USDA 9 CFR, vaccine platforms, IACUC compliance (III/IV), and publications (IV).
