Job Description
The Attach & Train Programme: is designed to build skilled talent for Singapore’s advanced biomedical manufacturing sector through practical, industry-based training. As a Biotechnologist Trainee, individuals will undergo a structured 15-month training within the Biologics Manufacturing team, working alongside experienced professionals to support the production of complex, cell-based medicines under high quality and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Support cGMP manufacturing operations for biologics drug substance, adhering to quality and safety standards.
- Depending on the assigned area, support upstream, downstream, or central services operations.
- Execute assigned manufacturing operations, including equipment cleaning and set-up.
- Complete and review batch documentation for accuracy and resolve errors promptly.
- Support shift operations and troubleshooting, reporting issues to the Lead Biotechnologist or Manufacturing Supervisor.
- Maintain inventory and overall plant readiness to support operations.
- Identify improvement opportunities and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Eligibility Criteria Required For Biotechnologist Trainee
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering or equivalent. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Knowledge of cGMP and regulatory requirements related to manufacturing is an advantage.
- Exposure to SAP, LIMS, or MES through internships or prior experience is preferable.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Highly motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
