Job Description

Altasciences (Montreal, Quebec) is hiring a Clinical Quality Control Associate to perform QC review of clinical trial data and complete QC tasks with the Quality Systems team under study protocols, GCP and SOPs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting, tracking and escalating errors or trends that may need re-training
  • Compiling data and maintaining files or deviation-tracking systems
  • Recording and resolving data queries
  • Communicating issues to supervisors
  • Protecting participant and sponsor confidentiality
  • Documenting clinical-trial deviations
  • Mentoring Quality Systems colleagues
  • Understanding protocol-timed events and collection windows
  • Other tasks as assigned by management

Eligibility Criteria

  • High school diploma completed
  • Related work experience an asset (not a 4+ year hard minimum)
  • English fluency is required for protocol and regulatory documentation

Required Skills

  • Strong communication in French and English
  • Detail oriented, well organized, customer service focused, able to work in fast-paced environment
  • Software: Microsoft Office
  • Strong attention to details
  • Personal/professional integrity and proven discretion in handling confidential information
  • Ability to develop strong trusting relationships in order to gain support and achieve results
  • Capable of managing multiple conflicting priorities
  • Self-directed, motivated and willing to take initiative
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

Work Schedule and Location

  • Regular full-time position; 37.5 hours a week
  • Availability between 7am and 7pm and 1 every 3 weekends
  • On-site, Montreal site (1200 Beaumont)
  • Accessible by metro (L’Acadie); free parking for employees
