Microbiology Lab Analyst posting is for night shift, the hours will consist of 8 and 12-hour shifts, Mon-Fri, with regularly scheduled weekend coverage once a month. This position resides in the Microbiological Environmental and AllergensTesting Lab, performing analytical testing using various established methodologies to support plant environmental and product allergen testing. Analyst coordinates testing of materials, processes testing data, and delivers results to the organization in a timely manner in order to meet release and production schedules. Communication to their lab group and the wider organization is vital to ensure business needs are met. Additionally, the analyst performs routine lab equipment maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, etc. as needed.

Eligibility Criteria:
โข Bachelorโs Degree in Microbiology, Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or related field
โข Laboratory workspace skills and management
โข Applicant should have experience with aseptic technique, general microbiology including cultural methods, and automated testing instrumentation.
โข Excellent organizational and verbal/written communication skills
โข 1x per month weekend coverage, as required by the production schedule
โข Good documentation practices, data comprehension, and problem-solving
โข Strong computer skills (GLIMS, Optiva, SAP, MS Office, Excel, or equivalents)
โข Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision
โข Strong interpersonal and team skills
