Qualifications
- PhD in Bioinformatics, Statistics or other computational subjects with application to Biology.
- Expertise in data management/analysis, Python, R, SPSS, Matlab, Spark/PySpark, SQL, and/or other related programming languages.
- Excellent scientific writing ability, strong oral communication skills, and statistical programming experience.
- Ability to critically evaluate data from multiple sources (study reports and literature, etc.), and translating complex data into meaningful insights.
- Background in Toxicology preferred.
- Must have excellent communication, interpersonal and collaborative skills.
- Detail oriented, organized, self-starter with a demonstrated track record of achievements.
- Knowledge of the use of Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinating and conducting statistical analysis of data generated from study results.
- Adapting to evolving research needs, acquiring new scientific knowledge and staying informed on new technologies.
- Working with and integrating a wide range of preclinical/clinical data types and resources that include publicly available databases, and internal datasets.
- Writing, preparing and presenting posters, manuscripts and technical reports for internal and external conferences, advisory boards and symposiums.
- Working closely within global Toxicology team and collaborating with different partners to ensure flawless support to business requirements.
- Connecting with medical safety, medical affairs, regulatory and other functions to gain insights and provide overall technical support.
- Conducting applied data analyses in health-related research ranging from basic science (preclinical studies) to clinical trials, meta-analyses, and epidemiology.
