Overview of the Role
The Research Associate will play a key role in expanding molecular and product-specific assay development within the Gene Therapy Research and Development team at Insmed. This position requires proficiency in cellular and molecular biology techniques, including PCR and Western Blot, as well as skills in histology, cloning, cell culture, transfection, and familiarity with rodent models.
Responsibilities of the Role
- Apply molecular biology techniques under the guidance of senior scientists.
- Utilize protein science knowledge for tasks such as performing Western blots.
- Conduct cell culture, maintain sterile technique, and perform transfection experiments.
Qualifications required for the Role
- Bachelorโs degree in Biology, Chemistry, or related field required. Graduate degree holders are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to present research results effectively.
- Willingness to learn new techniques and train other laboratory staff.

Salary Range
$68,000 – $90,467 per year
