Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Validation Specialist to join our Validation department at Sartorius Albumedix Limited in Nottingham. In this full-time onsite role, you will be responsible for writing and executing validation test protocols (IVP, IQ, OQ, IOQ, PQ, and VR) for equipment and processes, ensuring compliance with GMP and FDA guidelines. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to validate equipment and operations including Process Qualification, CIP, SIP, Autoclave, Cold Store, Thermal Mapping, Cleanroom, and Cell Bank Suite.
Key Responsibilities
- Write and execute protocols for equipment, facilities, software, and processes to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Create and maintain detailed validation reports, technical reports, and risk assessments.
- Verify processes and systems meet GMP and FDA standards.
- Collaborate with QA, Engineering, and Production teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and drive improvements.
- Perform tests, collect data, and analyse results to support system and process validation.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement.
- Represent the department during customer and regulatory audits.
- Use Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and DotCompliance for documentation.
Qualifications
- BSc in Engineering or Life Sciences and/or strong experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing/QA.
- Knowledge of GMP, FDA, and ISO regulations.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and team spirit.
- Excellent communication and written skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
- Right to work in the UK is required.
