Job Description
The Data Science Intern will work within the IT team to analyze data, build machine learning models, and document methodologies and workflows. This role will also collaborate across various functions to communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Analyze structured and unstructured data from diverse sources
- Build and evaluate machine learning models for relevant tasks
- Perform data wrangling, cleaning, and feature engineering
- Develop visualizations and dashboards
- Assist in designing experiments and analyzing results
- Document methodologies, workflows, and results
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelorโs, Masterโs, or PhD degree in Data Science, Bioinformatics, or Computational Biology
- Experience with data analysis tools and languages
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques and libraries
- Familiarity with data visualization tools
- Excellent communication skills
Additional Experience:
- Exposure to life sciences data
- Familiarity with statistical methods
- Experience with large-scale datasets or cloud platforms
