Job Description
As an R&D SRA Scientist at PepsiCo, you will work on ensuring compliance of new ingredients and packaging solutions, generate label content, and approve final packaging graphics. This role involves authoring ingredient statements, substantiating claims, and maintaining regulatory information in databases. You will collaborate with various departments such as Product Development, Marketing, and Legal to support innovation initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing ingredient questionnaires and working with suppliers
- Approving specifications for the US Foods business and supporting innovation initiatives
- Authoring ingredient statements, nutrition facts, and approving graphics
- Providing input on nutrition labeling, claims, and regulatory questions
- Reviewing and maintaining Regulatory Affairs data and systems
- Managing requests for ingredient documentation and certifications
Qualifications
- BS in Nutrition Science, Food Science, Engineering, Technology, or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of regulatory affairs experience
- Strong knowledge of FDA and USDA food regulations
- Excellent computer skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Compensation & Benefits
The expected compensation for this position is between $69,900 – $117,000. PepsiCo offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans.
