Position Overview:
Pace is seeking a dedicated Entry Level Biotech Associate to join their team in San Leandro, CA. This full-time, on-site role is designed for recent graduates eager to apply their academic knowledge in a practical, research-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform Intraperitoneal (IP) injections in rats and mice, ensuring accurate dosing and proper restraint to minimize stress and injury.

Monitor and record morbidity and mortality of laboratory animals, documenting appropriate study records.

Maintain thorough knowledge and understanding of GMPs/GLPs as they pertain to work performed in the microbiology lab.

Engage in repetitive and technically meticulous small laboratory animal research work; training will be provided.
Qualifications:

Minimum requirement: BS degree in Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Toxicology, Pharmacology, or a related field.

Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently, self-motivated, and results-driven.

Proficiency in Office 365 and other software preferred.

Effective communication skills and willingness to work with potentially hazardous biological and chemical substances.

Must be able to work in close proximity to laboratory animals (including mice, rats, rabbits, guinea pigs) and tolerate animal odors.

Ability to lift 30 pounds and stand for extensive periods of time (up to 6 hours).
