Job Title: Laboratory Instrumentation Specialist
Location: USA
Work Hours: Full-time, 8:00 am โ 5:00 pm, overtime as needed

Educational Requirements for Laboratory instrument technician:

Bachelorโs degree in Life Sciences (Chemistry, Biology) with 4+ years relevant experience, or
-
MS/PhD in Life Sciences with 2+ years relevant experience
Key Responsibilities for Laboratory instrument technician:
Instrument Qualification & Maintenance:
-
Perform and document lab instrument qualifications (HPLC, GC, KF, UV-Vis)

Execute scheduled/post-maintenance qualifications and verify instrument readiness
Repairs & Troubleshooting:
-
Conduct urgent repairs on lamps, pumps, seals, and tubing
-
Troubleshoot calibration-related issues and assist with upgrades
Software & Data Management:
-
Use chromatography data software (e.g., Empower) and GMARS system
-
Maintain accurate instrument files, work orders, and qualification records
Vendor & Client Coordination:
-
Escort vendors for on-site maintenance and coordinate service activities
-
For this Laboratory instrument technician role you have to interface with clients and project teams for asset and data management
Reporting & Metrics:

Document service activities and report instrument performance metrics
Skills Required for Laboratory instrument technician:

Strong scientific, organizational, and computer skills
