Internship Opportunity at Boston- Role:

As a PI R&D Engineering Intern, you’ll collaborate closely with the Carotid R&D team, focusing on devices used in TransCarotid Artery Revascularization (TCAR) — a minimally invasive procedure for carotid artery disease. You’ll gain real-world experience across various phases of product design, development, and testing, applying your academic knowledge to impactful medical innovations.

Biomedical engineering Internship- Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, prototype, and develop catheter-based products to enhance clinical performance and ease of use.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Marketing, Quality, Clinical, and Regulatory teams to ensure project success.
  • Apply systematic problem-solving to identify and resolve technical challenges.
  • Conduct laboratory testing and develop testing methodologies.
  • Translate academic concepts into practical medical device applications that improve patient outcomes.

Internship Opportunity at Boston- Eligibility Criteria:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Materials Science.
  • Expected graduation between December 2026 and May 2027.
  • Availability for one of the internship periods: May 18 – August 7 or May 26 – August 14.
  • Experience in medical device design, fluid mechanics, and 3D modeling preferred.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills.
