Educational Requirements for the Associate Scientist Role:

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelorโs Degree in Biological/Agricultural Engineering, Food Science Technology, or Animal Science/Nutrition (or equivalent).

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

Masterโs or Advanced Degree in the above disciplines.

3+ years of R&D experience in the food manufacturing or related industry.

Experience with SAP, BOM recipe documentation, and recipe design software.

Key Responsibilities of the Associate Scientist Role:
- In this Associate Scientist Role, you have to support Innovation, Renovation, and Continuous Improvement projects through formulation data and system accuracy.
- Develop, export, and maintain product recipes and raw material data according to Mars standards.
- Oversee quarterly recipe optimization cycles, updating raw material nutrient values and costs.
- Manage the nutrient matrix in formulation software to ensure precise analytical and cost data.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system enhancements and validation.
- Handle Concessions and PRIMP management in Nexus.
Skills Required for the Associate Scientist Role:
- These scientist Jobs require strong understanding of food science principles โ chemical, microbiological, and physical.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and HACCP systems.
- Proficiency in SAP, Veritas, and other analytical tools.
