Educational Requirements:

  • High school diploma / GED + 4 years of scientific experience OR
  • Associate’s degree + 2 years of scientific experience OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in Biochemical Engineering, Life Science, or related fields (preferred)

Key Responsibilities for Process Development Associate Role:

  • Support the development, characterization, and scale-up of drug substance processes for late-stage programs.
  • Perform bench-scale experiments spanning end-to-end drug substance processes, including cell culture and purification operations.
  • Apply established platform approaches to solve experimental challenges and contribute to technology development.
  • Work collaboratively in an integrated team across multiple modalities like antibodies, oncolytic viruses, bispecifics, and siRNAs.
  • Demonstrate continuous learning and skill development in cell culture and purification.

Skills Required for Process Development Associate Role:

  • Understanding of protein chromatography, filtration, and cell culture principles.
  • Hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture or purification operations is a plus.
  • Ability to identify and implement solutions using fundamental scientific and engineering principles.
  • Motivated self-starter with strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in diverse, cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with the design of experiments and statistical data analysis.
