Educational Requirements:
- High school diploma / GED + 4 years of scientific experience OR
- Associate’s degree + 2 years of scientific experience OR
- Bachelor’s degree in Biochemical Engineering, Life Science, or related fields (preferred)
Key Responsibilities for Process Development Associate Role:
- Support the development, characterization, and scale-up of drug substance processes for late-stage programs.
- Perform bench-scale experiments spanning end-to-end drug substance processes, including cell culture and purification operations.
- Apply established platform approaches to solve experimental challenges and contribute to technology development.
- Work collaboratively in an integrated team across multiple modalities like antibodies, oncolytic viruses, bispecifics, and siRNAs.
- Demonstrate continuous learning and skill development in cell culture and purification.
Skills Required for Process Development Associate Role:
- Understanding of protein chromatography, filtration, and cell culture principles.
- Hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture or purification operations is a plus.
- Ability to identify and implement solutions using fundamental scientific and engineering principles.
- Motivated self-starter with strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in diverse, cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with the design of experiments and statistical data analysis.
