Research Associate Job Description

In this research associate job, the research associate will run established protocols for RNA extraction and RT-qPCR, western blot, ELISA and mammalian cell culture, run biomarker assays on plasma, serum, urine, tissue and culture samples across the company’s disease areas, and support ex vivo work in animal and human tissue, producing clean, reproducible data for the drug-discovery team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Run established protocols for RNA extraction and RT-qPCR, western blot, ELISA and mammalian cell culture.
  • Run biomarker assays on plasma, serum, urine, tissue and culture samples across the company’s disease areas.
  • Support ex vivo work in animal and human tissue.
  • Produce clean, reproducible data for the drug-discovery team.

Eligibility Criteria

  • BS in biology, biochemistry or a related life science.
