Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences
Key Responsibilities of Microbiology Analyst Role:
- Assist with and perform membrane filtration for sterility testing
- Conduct environmental monitoring: Viable Surface, Viable Air, and Particulate Testing
- Perform endotoxin testing
- Maintain daily logs and proper documentation
- Perform sample plate enumeration and media fill reads
- Assist with laboratory inventory and equipment maintenance
- Perform laboratory cleaning and biohazard bin removal
- Ensure GMP compliance in all activities
- Execute other job-related duties as required
Skills Required:
- Laboratory experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to achieve and maintain gowning qualification and wear all required PPE
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently on scientific projects
- Scientific technical writing, including authoring and revising SOPs or technical reports
