Educational Requirements for the Microbiologist Role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or a related field
- Minimum 1 year of pharmaceutical QC Microbiology laboratory experience or equivalent
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform microbiological testing of raw materials, utilities, in-process, final products, and stability samples in this Microbiologist Role
- Conduct daily, weekly, semi-weekly, and monthly environmental monitoring
- Perform microbial enumeration, culturing, isolation, and organism identification
- Read plates and document microbiological results
- Perform endotoxin and particulate testing (Level II)
- In Microbiology Jobs in the USA, you should enter and review microbiological data in batch records and laboratory documentation
- Notify management of OOS results, deviations, and equipment issues
- Assist with investigations related to EM excursions and OOS results
- Maintain laboratory equipment, including routine and preventative maintenance
- Support regulatory audits and assist in training new employees
- Maintain microbial culture collections and laboratory inventory
- Follow SOPs, safety guidelines, and cGMP requirements in the Microbiology Jobs at Ritedose
