Clinical Research Job Summary
The Clinical Trial Assistant supports clinical research activities by reviewing and redacting sensitive documentation to ensure compliance with privacy regulations and internal standards. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Review pathology reports from the PK department and redact required information
- Review laboratory reports from the Data Management department and redact required information
- Review eligibility documentation and Serious Adverse Event (SAE) documentation; redact necessary information
- Assist with redaction of SAE documentation for safety reporting
- Assist in redaction and verification of Protected Health Information (PHI) removal from images within the internal imaging portal (Nucleus)
- Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- High attention to detail and accuracy
Required Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university preferred
- Clinical research experience preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe required
Compensation of Clinical Research Jobs
The annualized base pay range for this role is $34,400 – $86,000. Actual compensation may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, and work schedule. Additional incentives, bonuses, and benefits may be available depending on the position offered.
