Educational Requirements for this Job:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, or a related scientific field
- Familiarity with aseptic technique and parenteral formulations (Preferred)
- Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage assigned studies from start to finish
- Secure formulations, excipients, vials, stoppers, and prefilled components
- Set up equipment and manufacture small-scale drug products
- Perform dialysis, placebo preparations, sampling, and equipment cleanup
- Submit samples and summarize study data
- Complete sample entry and tracking in LIMS and lab informatics systems
- Generate, verify, and interpret data while ensuring data integrity
- Plan experiments and author documentation related to assigned work
- Set up and operate lab equipment such as plunger insertion units, fillers, vial cappers, and other formulation/process devices
- Support instrument qualification, routine operation, troubleshooting, and documentation
- Perform data review for teammates
- Perform testing on in-process samples, including Density, Viscosity, Appearance, UV-Vis, pH, Osmolality, Particulate Matter (HIAC/MFI), Protein Content, and HPLC (SEC, Polysorbate 80)
- Prepare buffers, calibration solutions, and standards
Skills Required:
- Strong analytical and laboratory skills
- Knowledge of HPLC, UV-Vis, and analytical techniques
- Familiarity with regulated lab environments
- Attention to detail and strong documentation practices
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Ability to learn new lab techniques and manage multiple tasks
